Who answers your call

Repeatedlysweet Garage Doors does not employ repair staff. When you reach out, your request goes to an independent provider in our network. That provider is a separate local business. Ask for the business name early, so you know who is on the line and who may visit.

What they will ask you

Expect a few simple questions. They help the provider judge the job and give you a fair picture.

• What is the door doing? Stuck, loud, crooked, or not moving at all?
• Did you hear a loud bang? That can point to a broken spring.
• Is the door open or closed right now?
• What is your address, so they can confirm they serve it?
• Is it a single or double door, and roughly how old?

Photos can help if the provider asks for them.

Questions to ask the provider

You are hiring a business, so ask like it. Good questions include:

• Is the quote written, and does it list parts and labor?
• What could change the price once the door is inspected?
• Are your work and parts covered by a warranty, and in writing?
• Are you licensed and insured where required?
• Is there a trip or diagnostic fee, and does it apply to the repair?

For emergency garage service, ask the same things. Stress is no reason to skip the written quote.

Keep it safe while you wait

Stay clear of springs, cables and the bottom brackets. They hold a lot of tension. If the door is stuck open, keep people and pets away from it.

The decision is yours

Providers may offer more than one option, such as a repair now or a replacement later. Take a moment to compare. You can say no, and you can get a second quote. There is no obligation.
